Registration for Winter 2021 is now OPEN! Please scroll down for more information about our Young Dancer (age 3-6), Core Dancer (age 7-10), and Main Dancer (age 11+) Programs. If you are interested in our Dance Company Division please email us at RsmryDance@gmail.com. A very limited schedule is available this Winter and classes are filling quickly. If you cannot find the information you need to register, please email us and we will be happy to help! Our Barrington studio is located on the campus of St. Andrew's and will remain closed this Winter. If at any time you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. These are uncharted waters and RSDE is committed to being transparent and flexible with all of our planning. We are taking a very conservative approach to our dance year and will be transforming our normal "school year" schedule into 3 sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring). Our Winter Session will run January 15th through March 25th. All classes will be available in-person or virtual. The number of students in the class will not change so virtual students can switch to in-person at any time and in-person students can go virtual at any time. Teachers will then be able to give more personalized instruction to each class. Closer to the end of our Winter Session we will provide details about the Spring Session based on current information at that time. We have classes offered in different combinations and on different days at each studio location. Therefore, please check all studio locations to see which works for you best. If a class is full, please add your dancer to the wait list. This will allow us to gauge interest in classes, add more classes if space allows, and make adjustments needed. If you don’t see a class you are looking for, please email us. Once you have registered for classes, please pay your annual registration fee of $15 online ($5 for each additional sibling) to complete enrollment. Tuition: Tuition listed is for the entire session. A 10% discount for siblings will be applied to tuition total. Tuition may be paid in full or in two installments. 50% of tuition will be due by January 15th and the remaining 50% of tuition will be due by February 15th.The Winter Session will run January 15th through March 25th. All studios are equipped with Zoom so we can complete the session regardless of closures. RSDE will follow state guidelines regarding Covid-19 at all times. All payments must be made online or by mail: RSDE PO Box 144 Warren, RI 02885. Please make checks payable to RSDE or Rosemary's School of Dance. What will classes look like? Classes will consist of approximately 6-12 dancers (depending on studio size). Check out our fun video here! Our lobby and common areas will be closed. An exception will be made for the parents of our youngest dancers. There are designated entrances/exits and restrooms for each studio space. Class times are staggered and daily wellness checks are performed. Each dance space is also fully sanitized in between groups. Classes will be awesome like always! We are so excited to dance with you! Will this be our schedule for the entire year and be our recital routines? This pandemic is ever changing and at this time we cannot predict the Spring season just yet. For planners like us, this creates such a challenge! This is primarily why we have pivoted to a trimester dance year so we can face the specific challenges in smaller sections. We have an outdoor recital planned for June 4th-5th at our Bristol/Warren location. By registering for the Winter Session you do not need to commit to the Spring Session. However, priority registration for the Spring will be given to students who are registered for the Winter Session. Class availability will be extremely limited since all of our classes will be operating at 50% capacity or less. Are there other options for classes? Yes! We are also offering limited Private/Semi-Private/Small Group lessons during weekday times. All lessons are 1-hour. Cost per lesson: Private (1 dancer) $40; Semi-Private (2 dancers) $23/per dancer; Small Group (3-5 dancers) $15/per dancer. Please email the studio if you are interested! What about costumes? This year we will not be collecting costume payments by December 1st like usual. We will be using accessories and other items that can go over a leotard easily and not require a dressing area for our outdoor Recital. As always, the Recital is an optional event and participation is not mandatory to take dance classes at RSDE. We want to Thank YOU! We opened on July 6th for limited summer programs and have had the best time! Our dancers, staff and RSDE families are nothing short of amazing! We are in this together. We are thinking of you each and every day. We miss you all! Warmly, Ms. Bethany and the entire RSDE Staff
