Rosemary's School of Dance Education (RSDE) was founded by Rosemary Hambly in 1974.  Since that time the studio has traveled to various locations throughout the state of Rhode Island and settled in Warren in 1990.  The studio has been under the direction of Rosemary's daughters Bethany and Samantha since her passing in 2003.  In July 2006, Rosemary's opened a second location in Tiverton under the additional direction of Alissa Surkont.  In October 2013, Rosemary's opened a third location in Rehoboth, MA.  In the summer of 2015, the studio expanded into Bristol at the former location of Shannon's Studio of Dance.  Shannon and Alissa were both former students of Rosemary.  She would be so proud to see her legacy carry on through this amazing dance family!  In 2019 a satellite location on the campus of St. Andrew's School in Barrington rounded out our fifth and final location.  Although studio locations have consolidated over the years, RSDE has continued to provide quality and professional dance instruction to thousands of students of all ages and abilities for decades.   All faculty members are trained, certified or professional dancers.  Faculty biographies can be found here.  Discover the difference at Rosemary's!  Welcome to our dance family!
